Teja's excellence in coursing can be seen in her progeny. Teja's first coursing win was when she was already carrying her first litter. Teja was 1st in the 1967 H&H Hunt and 1969 CGA Hunt. She was the 9th Saluki to complete her CC and also a Pacific Coursing Champion. Teja won the Santa Barbara Lure Chase in 1970.


Teja's show career was short-lived as she was so "petite", she was often overlooked as too small, although within the standard. Her soundness did win her Championship with the most notable win as RWB under Helen Baker at Santa Barbara in 1969 in a entry of nearly 40 bitches.

Top Producer 1969 (Phillips System). Teja's litter by CH Srinagar Sunara Surya was lost in a distemper outbreak at 6 weeks of age. Teja suffered from an undiagnosed diabetus incipitus after this time and she died as a result while giving birth to a final litter. Her loss and the loss of her carefully planned Surya litter were one of the tragedies which most deeply shadowed all those at Srinagar.
