Krisna is the All-Time Top Producing Saluki. He was Top Producer 1971, 1972, 1973 and 1974 and sired 32 litters producing 66 American and 23 Foreign Champions, becoming the top stud of Srinagar Kennels. As a stud, Krisna "proved prepotent for his sound front and delightful temperment".

Kris was the first winner of the Cirrus Cup, winner of the ASA Breed Challenge Shield 1968/69, the ASA Stud Dog Trophy 1969, 1971, 1972 and 1973, and the Siva Cup 1970. He was ASA Dog of the Year 1969 and No. 3 Top Saluki in 1968 with over 50 Breeds. In 1964, Kris won the Obedience Plaque. He gained his championship at 17 months with 3 majors in 8 days and completed his Canadian title in one weekend.

The Hounds of Srinagar donated and awarded the first "Krisna Cup" in honor of Krisna in 1977. The trophy is an antique bronze and brass Tibetan wine jar set with semi-precious stones and mounted on a base with brass plaques for the winner's names. The Krisna Cup is presented to the dog whose combined get have the greatest total number of points in lure coursing, both Open and Field Champion stakes to be considered as determined by the ASFA point system
